Baku Is Calling: F2F Education Fair 2027
Apply-Uni Introduces a Face-to-Face Education Fair Concept in Baku
The F2F format brings together a limited number of universities, pre-screened prospective students, and education agencies through scheduled meetings focused on study opportunities and the admissions process.
With eight years of experience in international education, Apply-Uni presents a structured approach to international education fairs in Baku. The Face-to-Face (F2F) format combines individual student consultations, meetings with education agencies, and private school visits, providing universities with several opportunities to connect with the local education market.
The concept is built on experience in international student recruitment and university partnerships, with a particular focus on structured meetings and maintaining communication after the event.
University Selection
Each F2F fair features 5-8 universities, with a maximum of two institutions from any one country. Universities representing the same country must either be located in different cities or have different tuition fee ranges.
This approach aims to give students a variety of universities and study options while reducing direct competition between institutions targeting similar market segments.
Direct Access to Prospective Students
Each fair aims to attract 150–200 motivated participants who have been pre-screened by professional study abroad advisers.
Participating universities can hold up to 25 scheduled consultations with pre-screened students. During these meetings, university representatives can discuss academic programmes, admission requirements, tuition fees, and application procedures in greater detail.
The format also allows prospective students and their families to speak directly with university representatives and obtain information relevant to their study plans.
Connections Beyond the Fair
In addition to student consultations, the F2F format includes up to 10 meetings with verified education agencies and a visit to a private school. These activities provide universities with further opportunities to establish new connections in the local education market.
Post-event follow-up support helps maintain communication after the meetings. Participating universities are also offered the opportunity to take part in interviews for television and social media.
The participation fee is €3,250. The package includes two nights of accommodation, airport transfers, meals, professional translation services, individual student consultations, meetings with education agencies, and a private school visit.
Results of the First Fair
According to figures provided by the event organisers, the first Face-to-Face fair recorded 300 registrations, 255 attendees, and 150 meetings with pre-screened students.
Universities from the United States, Poland, Hungary, Germany, and Türkiye were represented at the event.
