• Bakalavr The **Bakalavr** (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) is an undergraduate academic qualification awarded in Russia and other post-Soviet countries upon the successful completion of a four-year university program. Representing the first cycle of the Bologna-aligned higher education system, this degree provides students with fundamental academic knowledge and practical skills in their chosen field of study. Holding a Bakalavr qualification fully prepares graduates to enter the professional workforce or pursue further postgraduate studies, such as a Master’s degree (*Magistr*).
